Our Summer Interior Updates we know You'll Love.

Yes, we're well into the summer now, but it's still not too late to add some seasonal updates to your interior spaces to give your home a refresh. Think light, bright, and effortlessly stylish—your space should reflect the laid-back vibe of summer living. From a simple switch of soft furnishings to chic accessory updates, here's the easy updates we know you'll love.

1. bedlinen, throws & textiles

Trade in those heavy winter layers for crisp cotton or linen bed sheets. Opt for soft pastels or a lighter muted palette to create a serene, summery feel in the bedroom.

This 100% cotton stipe bedlinen from Zara is a low cost way to style your bed and inject a bit of sunshine into your mid-summer interior update.

2. Cushions & Curtains

Swap out dark, heavy fabrics for something lighter—think linen or sheer materials. Introduce cushions in fresh shades or playful prints to add a pop of colour to your space.

We're sold on these British made organic cotton curtains from Tori Murphy. Opt for the 'cottage pleat' header and add extra length to the drop for that 'designer' finish.

We're not sure we could pick a favourite from the delightful collection of mediterranean inspired cushions at The Mews, but if we really had to choose, it would probably be this cool summer blue one!

3. Colour Pops

Summer is undoubtedly the season to embrace colour. Incorporate bold, bright accents throughout your home, with a statement vase, a new piece of art, or a vibrant table lamp perhaps.

This Murphy table lamp from Pooky is guaranteed to brighten the dullest of corners.

4. Floral & Botanical Prints

Nothing says summer quite like florals. Whether it’s a new cushion cover or a pretty feature wallpaper, introducing botanical prints is an easy way to bring the outside in.

5. Maximise Natural Light

Make the most of the longer days by keeping window treatments light and airy. Sheer curtains are perfect for letting in the sunshine while maintaining privacy.

6. Mirrors

Strategically placed mirrors can work wonders in reflecting light and making your home feel more spacious.

We're determined to see the bobbin trend through to the very end, and will do so with this gorgeous green glossy Bobina Bobble mirror from Oka.

7. Summer Serveware

Elevate your table with summer-inspired serveware. Whether it’s colourful plates, chic glassware, or a new table runner, it’s all about creating a setting that feels as fresh as the season.

These sunny summer pasta bowls by Woven Rosa at Glassette are perfect for a lunchtime light linguine.

8. light wood & wicker

Give any room in your home a simple summer uplift using wicker and rattan, or painted and lighter wood.

With just a few thoughtful updates, your home can be transformed into a summer sanctuary—perfect for enjoying the longer days and warmer nights ahead.
